Venice Flood

In the news yesterday was the flooding in Venice. Apparently, it is a common occurrence around this time of the year. Photos of tourists swimming at the Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square) where pigeons used to crowd were posted in the Yahoo World News. One photo caught my eye however. The photo of a woman standing on a bench due to the rising water looked very familiar. So familiar that if you look at the banner photo of this blog, the bench behind Rafael looks very similar to the photo below and must be just a few feet apart.
