Maria + Sam's Wedding Slideshow

Just want to share Maria and Sam's slideshow. Their wedding was simple yet elegant. Maria was beautiful and radiant without really trying. One of the unexpected rewards of wedding photography is how we're able to build relationships not only with the couple but their families and friends as well. The length of time we spend with the couple during their wedding day inevitably leads to developing friendships with them beyond just being one of the vendors.

The venue was especially pleasing to us as photographers as there were limitless details to shoot unlike if it was held in a typical hotel. The Hacienda in Santa Ana honestly looks like the well-known Santuario de Chimayo in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is coincidentally owned by the same people who runs Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach where we shot Meredith and Wayne's wedding.

Been working on a slideshow of the first-ever paid wedding that we covered back in 2007. Why am I doing it now? Aside from having some free time, we didn't have an online slideshow software back then and when we did, I never got around to doing one for them. Also, this is one of my favorite weddings ever not only because it was our first but the venue was intimate and had a rustic feel to it not to mention how cool both of them are. Their color motif also made for really nice photos. Their both avid cyclists but have taken a hiatus since their little Noah was born.
