Since Gra'ma arrived here in December, she has amassed a patio full of plants and cactii. She gives them her utmost care. In fact, whenever it rains, the cactii sits underneath big umbrellas while we all have to streak to our cars to avoid getting wet. Now that she's in San Francisco for a long period of time, I am worried that when she gets back, her plants are not what they used to be. Some have stopped bearing flowers while some have dried leaves. In order to save the plants, we hired a temporary gardener to take care of them as we obviously don't have the time to water them ourselves. He started yesterday afternoon. I took photos of him from afar to make sure he's doing his job. Hopefully, the plants respond to him soon enough before Gra'ma comes back. Here are some shots I took.
