5 1/2 Months

Rafael is almost 5 and half months old now. We rarely have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed him. It does indeed get better. Though we are in the early stages of parenthood, I totally get it now why some couples long to have more than one child. It is because of the happiness and elation that you feel when there is a baby around. They are such blessings in that they add life to the Grandpas and Grandmas, they bring joy to the Aunts and Uncles and they give us a reason to strive to be good parents.

Angel and I take turns in taking care of Rafael. During our shifts, we always have a camera handy to make sure we capture every milestone. Below are photos we took while on our respective shifts the past 2 weeks. Not necessarily milestones but reason enough to capture them anyway.

Taking care of him isn't always a picnic especially when he cries..but even then he just makes us smile..
