Surplus

According to Wikipedia, the Spanish name El Sobrante translates to 'leftover', 'remainder', 'extra' or 'surplus' in English. As we explore the city more, we're finding out that it is nothing like its English translation. Just a stone's throw away is the Kennedy Grove Regional Recreation Area - a popular destination for hikers, day campers and of course picnickers. We are also just a 5-minute drive from the San Pablo Reservoir where fishing, boating and conoeing are allowed. Even just driving through the San Pablo Dam road is already a treat in itself.

Hopefully, this is where we will permanently raise our family. We look forward to exploring the area some more especially now that we are in the midst of spring!
