The Schmidts

This post is dedicated to our good 'ole neighbor Chip and Marlyn and of course their adorable 17 month old baby girl, Darlyn. Rafael and Darlyn were actually born just weeks apart and have been constant playmates since. I've always wanted to shoot a family portrait of them. Last Monday, we all went on a picnic at the Rancho Santa Margarita Beach we call it. A man-made beach by the RSM Lake. I managed to capture a few informal photos of them though I would still want to have a formal session with them. There is something about family portraits that's quite appealing. Here are a few shots I took of them.
