Goodsearch.com

There is this really cool search engine powered by Yahoo! called Goodsearch.com that donates a penny to your favorite cause every time you do a search. The cause that I am supporting is ANCOP USA (www.ancopusa.org) which funds the Gawad Kalinga Project (www.gawadkalinga.org) in the Philippines. Gawad Kalinga builds houses and schools for the poor but more than that also provides livelihood making this project more sustainable. This project has been going on for a while now and the houses built can be seen in several areas around the Philippines.

Goodsearch.com is one avenue for us to help without really having to give a single penny from our pockets. How many times do we use a search engine in a day? 10 times maybe? Imagine if 100 of us searches a minimum of 10 times per day, that is equivalent to $10 per day and $300 per month and $3600 per year. The cost to build a house is around $2000. Imagine how our searches will help put a roof over a family's heads.

I've been using Goodsearch now for over 3 years already. You can also do your online shopping through Goodshop and depending on the store, a donation of as much as 1.5% will go to ANCOP USA. Look out for the coupons being offered by these stores. Hundreds of popular stores are participating.

As of today, still not too many people know about this. As few as 30 searches are being done daily to support this cause. Please help increase the traffic and support ANCOP USA.
