Friday Night Light

Last night after dinner, I tried a technique I read recently of dragging the camera's shutter and using the flash, with my point-and-shoot camera. A photo taken with a flash in full auto mode usually exposes the subject properly but darkens the background making the photo look flat (unless this is done deliberately to hide the clutter in the background). While I carried Rafael, I took a few snaps of us using this slow shutter technique and it didn't turn out too bad. Judging from his reaction, he didn't mind it much.
