New Year in San Juan

To celebrate the New Year, we went to The Mission in San Juan Capistrano. Angel and I have been there a couple of times but we thought Gra'ma would be interested to see it. The Mission in San Juan is the 7th mission (out of the 21) founded in 1776. It is only a 20 minute drive from Rancho and one of the places we never get tired of seeing. Like any historic place, it makes you wonder the things that went on here during those times.

Rafael was patient all throughout. He cherished it when we took him out of his stroller as he had a better of view of the surroundings. He was also quite cooperative during our photo-taking sessions despite the seemingly boring adult activity :=)

Someone left a miniature model of the San Juan Mission Church...blended well with the background that it doesn't look like a model from afar.

Angel suggested I take a photo of Rafael at this unusual angle that came out quite nice...
